Lindsay Lohan Goes To Jail.

Lindsay Lohan will serve at least 90 days in jail for violating probation
in 2007. When the judge confirmed her sentence, she bursted out in tears.

De rechter in Beverly Hills, Californië, sprak de effectieve celstraf uit nadat Lohan (24) de voorwaarden verbrak van een straf die haar in 2007 was opgelegd. Zo kwam ze niet opdagen op een verplichte cursus alcoholbeheersing, waarna ze een verplichte alcoholmonitor aan de enkel diende te dragen. Die sloeg dit voorjaar alarm.

Well money talks I guess, because Lindsay Lohan is most likely not to serve 90 days.

UsMagazine.com stated:

She may have been ordered to serve 90 days in the slammer, but Lindsay Lohan probably won't stay behind bars for that long.

Steve Whitmore, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, tells Access Hollywood that generally non-violent females, such as the 24-year-old actress, are eligible to serve just 25 percent of their sentence. In Lohan's case, that would wind up at around 22 days. The reason: Severe jail overcrowding.
